The Joint Meetings Industry Council (JMIC) was established in 1978 as a vehicle information exchange amongst international associations engaged in various aspects of the Meetings Industry. It administers the Unity Award which recognizes individuals making significant contributions to the Meetings Industry and is currently coordinating a global strategy for increasing awareness of the industry and the benefits it creates. A series of support materials to assist centres with their community and government relations activities, including a guidebook and adaptable articles and advertisements are available for download on the JMIC site.
AIPC participates in industry Trade Shows in a variety of ways, offering you an opportunity to connect with staff and members in person. This year our program included:
