We're pleased to announce that the fifth in our series of AIPC Sales and Marketing Summits will be held May 23, 2010 in cooperation with IMEX.
Now well established as a key session for Sales and Marketing executives, the purpose of the Summit is to create a forum in which key market issues and challenges can be assessed in a global context and new strategies developed to address them. What makes this session so effective is a combination of over 50 senior level convention centre sales and marketing directors from all over the world combined with input from both client representatives and marketing specialists in a workshop setting that supports innovation and action.
Highlights this year will include:
o A review of rapidly changing market conditions by a global panel of senior convention centre marketers
o An exchange with high level corporate and association executives on the challenges they are now facing and how centres can gain an advantage in this new environment
o An update on meetings technology and social network marketing as it increasingly applies to both sales and event delivery
o The latest results of an assessment of meetings contracts - what's new and how this is impacting everything from timing to the recent wave of renegotiations
Be sure to include the Summit in your IMEX itinerary, and pass on this information to your AIPC member sales and marketing colleagues that you feel would benefit from this kind of exchange.
Date and time: Sunday May 23, 2010 from 10.00 until 17.00 hrs.
